How to find saved posts and Reels on Facebook
Your aunt sent you that recipe. You saved it. On Facebook. And Facebook has rebuilt its menu three times since.
Where do I find my saved posts on Facebook?
In the app, open the menu, the three lines, and then “Saved.” Posts, videos, links and Reels all sit there together. On a computer, “Saved” is in the left sidebar, or you go straight to facebook.com/saved.
You can also reach saved Reels through Reels itself: the profile icon at the top of the Reels tab, then “Saved.” Exactly where that button sits depends on your app version, Facebook likes to move it.
How to get there
In the app
Menu (three lines, bottom or top right depending on the layout), scroll down to “Saved.” Cannot see it? Tap the magnifier at the top of the menu and search for “Saved.”
Reels only
Inside Saved there is a filter for Reels. Alternatively: open Reels, tap the profile icon at the top, then “Saved.”
On a computer
Click “Saved” in the left sidebar, possibly under “See more” first. Or simply type facebook.com/saved. The filter at the top right narrows things down by type.
When a save is gone
The post was deleted
If the person or page deletes the post, it disappears from your saves too. That is the most common reason.
The visibility changed
A post from a group you left, or one that is now visible to friends only, can disappear for you.
Wrong profile
If you switch between several profiles, check which one you are using right now. Saves belong to the profile you saved them with.
Buried at the bottom
Saved shows newest first. Older saves are only reachable by scrolling. A filter by type makes the list a lot shorter.
Keeping Facebook saves in order
Create collections
Facebook can sort saves into collections. When saving, or later inside Saved, you assign a post to a collection.
Remove what you have seen
A save you are done with can go. Long press it or tap the three dots and remove it from Saved.
Ideas to where you plan
For many people Facebook is where family and clubs post. If something should turn into an outing, share the post to Swiva and drop it into the right list. Then it sits next to the Instagram Reel and the place from Maps.
What Swiva cannot do here
Swiva does not read your Facebook saves and does not connect to your Facebook account. Whether a shared Facebook link gets a nice preview depends on whether the post is public.
A few quick answers
Can others see what I save on Facebook?
No, your saved items are private and do not appear on your profile.
Is there a direct link to my saves?
Yes, on a computer facebook.com/saved takes you straight there while you are logged in.
Why can I not find saved Reels under Saved?
Try the Reels filter inside Saved or go through the Reels tab and the profile icon. Depending on the version, Facebook shows Reels more clearly in one of those two places.
Can I restore deleted saves?
If you removed them yourself, no. If the original post was deleted, it is gone for everyone.
Where are posts I liked?
You find them in your activity log in settings. They do not show up under Saved, because saves and likes are separate things on Facebook.
Your next good idea gets to stay.
Save it to Swiva and come back to it when you actually have time for it.
